Mountain Shadows Middle School Tutoring ResourcesChildren who struggle in school benefit from tutoring, which helps them gain confidence and skills if they’ve fallen behind. Even if your children are excelling in school, tutoring can still be of great benefit, boosting their confidence and preparing them for the next level.
Tutoring services not are available through the school, but parents are encouraged to take on an active role by home tutoring their children. Many teachers offer after school help in their classrooms so please check with your childs teacher to see which day tutoring is available.
8th Grade Tutoring
Tutoring is available on Monday and Thursdays from 2:30 - 3:30, starting March 1, 2010 and will continue through May 28th. This turoring is available for 8th graders who are at risk and will be used to provide additional support. Your child's counselor will have more information if you feel your child needs additional support and is at risk.
